Week 8
This week, I was absent for half of the days, but I still tried to get my work done. I researched about different ways color photography worked. Basically, there is a dye attached to the silver and the photo is exposed through different filters of red, cyan and yellow. I downloaded different patents and started to read about that stuff. The biggest part though is finding the right photosensitive dye.
Humanities
The mountains loomed over the pretty little lake. The dark blue-black contrast against the luster of the lakes perfect reflection. They stood menacingly with their icy snow caps and rigid bodies. The lake was pretty. It wasn't your typical faded out baby blue. It was bright and beautiful, indescribable with words alone. It was late morning, the leaves were open, soaking in the sunlight. The squirrels were scurrying around with their tiny feet. The weather was just right - the way it was for those few special days every year.
This photo makes use of contrast. The mountain's stiffness and harsh bodies contrast the sparkling and relaxed water. The shot was taken at midday in late spring/summer (the ice caps are almost gone). The water way between the mountains is on the first horizontal line of thirds. This is eye-catching photo because
